Higher-grade, longer-lasting coatings require even more precision during application. COMMON MYTHS ABOUT CERAMIC COATINGS

Ceramic coatings offer strong durability, but they’re not bulletproof protection for your vehicle. It’s important to understand what they can and can’t do.

They help resist light swirls and minor scratches when the car is properly washed and maintained, but they won’t stop deeper scratches from improper care or rough contact. They also won’t protect against rock chips—that’s where paint protection film (PPF) comes in.

Maintenance still matters. Regular washing, proper drying, and occasional upkeep are key to keeping the coating performing at its best. Even a long-term coating can break down earlier if it’s not cared for correctly.
